Tina Walter, C-IAYT, is a Clinical Oncology Yoga Therapist at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati and also at The Christ Hospital Health Network where she provides both inpatient and outpatient mind/body interventions to patients with cancer. For over 10 years, Tina has taught group classes for people in and post cancer treatment for the Cancer Support Community. Tina has presented her research at local and national conferences on the efficacy of yoga therapy during cancer treatment and has recently published results of a pilot research study in the Journal of Holistic Nursing on a similar topic.

·        Dr. James P. Herman, Internationally Recognized Expert on Stress Biology. Dr. Herman earned his B.S. in Chemistry/Psychology at Hobart College and his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1987, from the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy. Dr. Herman was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mental Health Research Institute at the University of Michigan. He began his career in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the University of Kentucky, where he was an Associate Professor and the James and Barbara Holsinger Chair of Anatomy and Neurobiology. Dr. Herman joined the University of Cincinnati faculty in 2000 and is currently the Director of the Laboratory of Stress Neurobiology, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, and Director of the Center for Basic Neuroscience Research. Dr. Herman’s major research interests include structural, functional and molecular biological principles underlying brain stress integration and pathology.
