Country music superstar and multi-Platinum recording artist Darius Rucker has partnered with Cincinnati’s own Kyle Rudolph for a charitable concert at Elder High Schoolon May 7, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Rucker will headline the evening’s events, hosted by Rudolph and also featuring The Bronson Arroyo Band, at The Pit at Elder High School. Proceeds from the event benefit Elder’s Altiora Fund, which will assist with the completion of the state-of-the-art Panther Fitness Center and help provide scholarships to students in need. Cincinnati based Kids2Campwill also be a local beneficiary.

“I’m honored that Darius is joining us for this concert. It will be an incredible opportunity for Cincinnati to come together for a great cause and to see Darius truly rock The Pit,” said Kyle Rudolph, an All-Pro tight end for the Minnesota Vikings and Elder grad.

Elder’s AD Kevin Espelage added, “during its eighty-one year history, The Pit has hosted thousands of football games and sporting events, so a Darius Rucker concert will add yet another one-of-a-kind experience to this stadium.  Moreover, this charity concert will help provide educational opportunities for current and future Elder Panthers!”

The concert’s presenting sponsors are Fifth Third Bank, Stagnaro Distributing, Jet’s Pizza, Athletes First, and B-105. The premier sponsor is Controlled Air, Inc. Event sponsors include CBTS and Kelsey Chevrolet.
