The Fatman

6am-10am (Monday–Friday)

Even from a young age, Ernie Brown was destined to be known as The Fatman. Weighing in at just over 14 lbs. and the fifth of seven children, he got his start in the world just south of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. He spent his days growing up fishing, playing ball, hunting and exploring. Until he found music.

Ernie knew early on that he didn’t want to do anything else. At first, he directed his efforts to performance, but after getting booted out of glee club for goofing off, he turned his attention to radio, where he’s been for more than 35 years.

Besides radio, Ernie has a passion for motorcycles and is a member of McMillan Masonic Lodge # 141, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Shrine, an honorary member of the Crescent Springs Villa Hills Fire Department.
